This won’t be great. It won’t be a long entry either. But it will be an entry and that’s the goal. No matter how poorly conceived and executed, writing and posting daily for 52 consecutive days is the mission.
Deadpool and Wolverine (I think that’s the title and I can’t be bothered to confirm) was absolutely wonderful. I can’t believe how much I loved this movie. From opening to close, there’s laughs and action and even heavy internal conflicts in our characters that I’ve been missing in the superhero genre. Damn, it was great!
The kids, all three of them, are upstairs brewing up a fight and I’m not going to intervene.
I saw Kam Patterson at Louisville Comedy Club last night and he was good. He’s talented and seems to be working hard on his jokes. It was good to see from a rising star that he’s staying hungry.
My wife and I are about to take all three of our children to the Sportsdrome in Clarksville, IN where we’ll watch a school bus figure 8 demolition derby. Yes, it’s late July and above 90 degrees and yes, I think we’re insane for attempting this… I’ll report our experience in tomorrow’s post.
